Driving is a career or business for many of us, but it's not all we do with our lives. In this section you will be able to find stories, tips and advice that speak to the whole driver. You Can't Get There From Here

The municipal airport in Red Deer, Alta. was built during World War II as a training ground for the Canadian Air Force and the yellow Harvard from the picture is a tribute to those origins. The airport is actually just southwest of Red Deer and was used as a military training ground up until 1965 when the City of Red Deer took over operation. Today, the airport offers some scheduled flights, chartered flights and flight training, as well as a runway for private flights.
The wooden sculpture in this month's photo is nearly 80 years old and was originally used as a highway safety warning.

Questions & Answers
Question I found road rage to be effecting my driving and also my mood. What if anything can I do to cool down and think instead of becoming more involved in an emotional problem? thunjak@xxx.com
Answer
Distance. Get away from it by stopping or turning the other way. Backing down from a confrontation is the best way to ensure it doesn't get any worse. Go for a coffee. have a short nap. Do anything but don't get involved. I know it's more easily said then done, but really, it's the only way. Distance.
